I had been thinking for a while that I wanted three-part facial contouring, and luckily I had a period when I could take a long vacation, so I took a little over a week off and had the three-part facial contouring surgery! I thought about it and realized I did everything I could: zygoma reduction, square jaw reduction with postauricular endoscopy plus muscle resection, and chin surgery with chin lengthening and advancement. Until the bandages came off, my eyes and even my lips were so swollen they felt like they would burst, but from day 4 the swelling went down quickly. On day 9 I had the stitches removed, and on day 10 I went to work. With a mask on, normal daily life is completely possible. Actually, I wore a mask because of bruising, but if it were not for the bruising, it would just look a little swollen? Still, I do not think anyone would guess that I had facial contouring done.
