Lifting Reviews

Mate Community Review

I had a double-eyelid revision surgery with Director Kim Geunsik, and the stitch removal is now complete. During my first surgery, back in 2002, I had incision surgery and epicanthoplasty together, so the bruising was severe and it seemed to take quite a while for the swelling to go down. This time it was natural adhesion, so maybe because of that or because the technique has advanced, I had almost no bruising and not much swelling, and after just one week I had my stitches removed and have been walking around comfortably without wearing glasses. I had read reviews saying stitch removal stings and hurts, so I was a little worried, but they only disinfected the area, and just when I was thinking, 'Why are they still not removing them?', they suddenly said, 'The stitches have all been removed,' which surprised me. They said only the very last stitch had been left, and maybe that is why I truly felt nothing lol Director also said the wound was healing well, and that the swelling usually goes down unevenly on the left and right, so there was no need to worry. If I do not say anything, it does not seem like eyes that had surgery only a week ago, which makes even me wonder. People around me also said it looks good. I just hope the swelling does not go down too much from here (others say it should go down more, but I am worried it will become too thin again like before), and I am waiting for the day I can wear makeup again as soon as possible!
