I had the surgery at DEETA on October 2, 2025! I can’t believe it’s already been half a year... Honestly, I’m the icon of distrust, so I didn’t believe it when the director and the head coordinator said my feel would change completely after just 6 months. Even at 3 to 4 months, I kept worrying, ‘Will it really ever get soft?’ lol.
But once it really hit 6 months, it changed just like a timer going off, and that was amazing. My tissue was originally on the firmer side, so I think it was a little slower, but even taking that into account, it feels like it’s relaxing and softening really well. Every time I run because I might miss the morning commute bus, I can feel it moving and I’m so emotionally moved. The director also confirmed after surgery that I was recovering really well, without the bottoming-out I’d been worried about.
This month I went to a resort with a pool with my friends and compared them a bit, and my chest was definitely the prettiest. The movement, the compression, the spread when lying down all feel pretty natural now. The scars can’t be seen from the front or side, only a little from below. At first the color was close to brown, but after monthly toning once a month and applying medicine, it’s faded a lot.
I’m going to celebrate finally passing the cursed 6-month mark by going swimsuit shopping haha. Before surgery I wanted to learn swimming, but I couldn’t because of my chest, and now I’m planning to go learn.
