I am two months out from my double eyelid surgery, and it has become much more natural than I expected. At first I was a bit worried because of the swelling, but the swelling went down quickly, and once the line settled in, it became almost unnoticeable now. Before, I used thick-rimmed glasses to hide it, but now I just go out without them lol. It looks even more natural with makeup, and my friends say they would not know unless I told them I had done it. People around me keep asking where I had it done and say they want it too, so I felt oddly proud.
