It has already been 2 months since my nose surgery, so I wanted to leave a review. Since I was young, my low, blunt bulbous nose was such a big complex that I had decided I would definitely need rhinoplasty someday. Usually, recommendations from acquaintances are the most trustworthy when it comes to cosmetic surgery, and it was surprising that two acquaintances who were completely unrelated to each other recommended this clinic, and one of them had actually had surgery here and was doing well, so I already had a certain level of trust before my first consultation.
After visiting several other clinics and comparing them, this place clearly had the most comfortable consultation atmosphere, and the director really listened carefully to the design direction I wanted. In particular, instead of forcing me to use a certain material, the fact that he asked me first, "What do you think about using silicone?" greatly increased my trust in the surgery.
To improve the bulbous nose that had been my long-time complex, after discussing with the director, we decided to proceed with surgery using autologous costal cartilage, ear cartilage, and silicone. Personally, I think the angle from the glabella downward is very important in nose surgery, and I wanted a moderate angle that suited my face rather than something overly smooth that would look obviously operated on. I also told him that I was uncomfortable with the tip becoming too pointed.
In the end, I think he corrected my bulbous nose very well into exactly the natural yet three-dimensional look I wanted. These days, when I meet people around me, they all say my impression looks much better than before, but that it does not look like I had surgery, so I am very satisfied. It is still only the 2-month mark, so there is still some swelling at the tip, but I am hoping it will become even more natural as time passes and the swelling goes down further.
The attached photos were taken at intervals from 1 month after surgery through the 2-month mark, so there are slight differences depending on the swelling reduction process. Please keep that in mind while looking at them.
