Eye Surgery Considerations

Only the area under my chin was thick.. the side profile bothered me so much

Because of my double chin, I felt stressed every time I took photos, and I had so many worries. I was not that overweight, but only the area under my chin was especially thick, so my face looked dull, and especially my side profile bothered me so much. I felt there were limits to exercise and dieting, so in the end I looked into double chin liposuction + muscle binding surgery, and after visiting several clinics for consultations, I decided on the current hospital. On the day of surgery, honestly I was very nervous, but the atmosphere at the hospital was calmer than I expected and the staff explained things kindly, so I felt a little reassured. They kept checking my condition until right before I went into the operating room, and they asked if I had any last questions, which helped me relax a bit. Once I was in the operating room, preparation went faster than I expected, and after the anesthesia went in, it felt like sleeping and waking up, though I kept feeling sleepy. When I woke up in the recovery room after surgery, I felt sore and a bit pulled. Especially because I had muscle binding done as well, moving my neck felt uncomfortable, and wearing the compression band made me feel a little suffocated too. Still, it was not as severe as I had imagined, and it felt more like sore muscle pain. Right after surgery, there was a little swelling, and the area under my chin felt hard and lumpy, but the hospital had explained that in advance so I was not too worried. My left jaw felt a little more painful. The nurses also explained how to manage everything in detail and carefully went over the precautions, which made me trust them. It has only been a little over a week since surgery, so it is not fully settled yet, but as the major swelling slowly goes down, I can see the jawline gradually becoming more defined, so I am excited. I think the side line will become much cleaner, so even taking photos already feels like it will be less stressful. For anyone considering it, I think it is a procedure worth considering:) I am very satisfied so far! I have only taken photos when I was pulling it or using a hot/cold compress, so I am posting these now. I will write another review once the swelling goes down!
