Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Contour surgery review, I’ll show you the CT photos (zygomatic bone, square jaw, chin)

I’ll write a review of my contour surgery. My facial shape itself had been stressing me out because it looked a bit like a peanut shape. Especially the feeling that my chin looked long was what bothered me the most. When I took photos, the uneven curves in the middle looked especially bad, and from the front my cheekbones and jawline both stood out, so I was always jealous of people with a slim face.. lol So I did a lot of in-person clinic visits for contouring, went to consultations at several places, and had the surgery. I had zygomatic reduction with triple fixation, and also had the square jaw, chin, total cortical osteotomy, and buccal fat removal. For the chin, I had T-osteotomy, chin advancement, and length reduction. Writing it out, I really did a lot.. lol- ConsultationMy own facial shape has a peanut-like feeling, and the chin length is really on the long side, but when you look only at the chin tip, there is also a slight underchin feeling, so they said that instead of simply reducing the jaw length, it would be better to shorten the length while also bringing it slightly forward. They explained it while looking at the CT with me too, and said that because of the thickness of my cheekbone, they could adjust it to the extent I wanted, and for the chin they suggested shortening the length while advancing it about 4 mm. Since I also had a little bit of cheek fat, they recommended buccal fat removal.- Why I decidedThe detailed consultation was the biggest reason I decided. It wasn’t just the feeling of, “If you do this, you’ll look pretty,” but an explanation of why this surgery was needed based on my facial structure, which I liked. And I wanted a dramatic change. Natural is nice too, but if I’m going all the way to surgery, I thought I’d feel disappointed if the change were too subtle.. Besides, my ideal look from the start was a slim face lol. On that point, the director understood the look I wanted and tried to match it as much as possible within what was feasible. From the start, the feeling was very much safety first. Since contouring isn’t a small surgery, I was worried about swelling and recovery, and kept wondering whether I’d get the face shape I had in mind. But the stress from my face shape every time I looked in the mirror was bigger, and if I was going to keep worrying about it anyway, I thought it would be better to do it when I had time. - Surgery dayMy heart really felt like it was going to burst lol I was so nervous. Once I got to the hospital, everything moved along so quickly that I didn’t even know how time passed. After the surgery, my face was obviously very swollen and it was hard to open my mouth comfortably lol (you have to take that into account if you’re getting contour surgery). Still, as time passed and the swelling went down, the line started to show. You really have to manage things well at this stage. I rested at home and worked hard on swelling care, and I didn’t force my jaw open. At first, eating was uncomfortable and honestly the swelling made my mood go up and down a lot, but mental management is really important at this stage. If you get through this period well, you start seeing the line come into place little by little, and your peace of mind comes back too lol- What I want to sayContour surgery? Of course it isn’t easy. That’s why I recommend visiting many clinics. In particular, it helps a lot if you clearly organize what face shape is stressing you out and what kind of line you want before going to the consultation. Also make sure the clinic has good reviews for contour surgery (please, that is the most important thing).- ResultWhat can I say, honestly I was a case that turned out really well, so I’m extremely satisfied lol The side cheekbones no longer look like they protrude as much, and the jawline no longer looks as heavy, and the line itself is now very clean, which I like. The chin also wasn’t just shortened in length; it was set to look slightly more forward, so my facial balance looks so much better than before. From the front, my face shape is insane. It came out exactly as I wanted. I was really worried because it was such a big surgery, but I visited many clinics and the hospital also took great care of me afterward (laser and contour injections), so recovery was completely manageable. If things settle more and I can post with my own photos later, I’ll upload them then. The CT photos are from the 1-month point. I’m posting them in case they might help. I think they could be useful as a reference.
