I had eyes with upturned outer corners, so they felt kind of tight and cramped, and because not much white showed, I thought my eyes were small. When I open my eyes, I naturally open them in a sleepy, weak way, and I actually like that...?! I did not want double eyelid surgery, but I wanted bigger eyes... lol So I looked into canthoplasty. I chose the PIAR heart canthoplasty, which is an incision method with no suture removal. First of all, I was told that just back canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty would be enough to improve the eye shape softly, so I went for it right away without hesitation. I did not hesitate much, and right now there is still a slight redness at the outer corner of my eye, but it is not very uncomfortable. It seems like the swelling went down faster than the bloodshot look, and since the stitches are said to disappear naturally, I am waiting. With this much change, I think my overall impression has improved enough. I look in the mirror every day, so maybe I lost my sense of it, but at first I thought maybe it was not widened much..?? But comparing before and after, the difference is huge lol
