It has now been about 50 days since I had ptosis correction surgery at Tove Plastic Surgery (surgery on March 16). Before surgery, because of ptosis, I had to use my forehead muscles every time I opened my eyes, which tired me out quickly, and people around me often said I looked sleepy and tired, so I worried a lot. I decided to have the surgery because I wanted to open my eyes comfortably and clearly without forcing my forehead. Now that almost two months have passed, I do not feel any pain at all, such as stiffness or pulling, and opening and closing my eyes feels very natural, like my own eyes. As the major swelling has mostly gone down, my eyes look much clearer and brighter, and people around me often tell me that I look a lot less dazed. Above all, not having to open my eyes with my forehead has made daily life so much more comfortable that every time I look in the mirror, I feel I should have done this sooner and am very satisfied.
