I’ll leave a review for anyone looking into revision surgery! I also took the photos from angles as similar as possible haha
My original double eyelid line gradually got lower over time, and one side had almost completely loosened and looked buried, so the asymmetry was really bad T_T People around me said they couldn’t really tell, but since it’s my own eyes, I was so conscious of it every time I took photos and it stressed me out, so I eventually decided on revision surgery.
Because it was a revision surgery, I was really meticulous about looking into it, and this time I wanted to avoid needing yet another revision, so I searched mostly for hospitals that specialize in eyes. I looked at whether they really focused on eye surgery rather than size, the director’s experience and style, and I think I checked reviews on this community, beauty apps, cafes, Instagram, and TikTok almost all of them T_T
I visited several places for consultations, and among them Dress Plastic Surgery felt the most trustworthy. When I went in for the consultation, the director didn’t feel like someone who just pushes random procedures. They explained in detail why my line had gotten lower and which part made my eyes look uneven, and only recommended the procedures I actually needed!
I had non-incisional eye muscle correction, natural adhesion revision double eyelid surgery, and upper canthoplasty together. Since it was revision surgery, the swelling lasted longer than after my first surgery T_T Especially because I also had canthoplasty, it felt a bit puffy at first, but after I managed it carefully, it settled faster than I expected haha
Now the line symmetry is good, and the strength of my eyelid opening has improved, so my eyes look much clearer. It doesn’t feel like a super dramatic change, but comparing the before-and-after photos, the difference is pretty big, which is amazing lol
Most of all, I’m so happy that the stress from uneven eyes is gone, and makeup has become so much easier. The line was also set naturally in exactly the way I wanted, so if you’re deliberating over revision surgery, I think getting a consultation would be helpful.
