Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of eyelid surgery at Lee Hak-su Plastic Surgery in Seomyeon

This was paid for with my own money~ I had already come here for a consultation 10 years ago, when I was in middle school, to get double eyelid surgery, and even now the director's skill is still great and the reviews are good, so I booked the surgery right after the consultation that same day! (In the meantime, they had moved to a better location, which seems to have gone well👍🏻) The hospital is a one-doctor clinic specializing in eyes, and I felt reassured because the director has over 25 years of experience!! The consultation is not done by the director but by the manager, and she listened well to my requests and was kind, so I felt comfortable! I liked that she objectively said not to do anything excessive and that front canthoplasty and back canthoplasty probably would not suit me. What I had done: incisional double eyelid surgery (in-out line) + ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty + fat removal (they said only some fat can be removed from the part that is incised, and that the fat in the upper eyelid area above it cannot be removed! So my upper eyelids are still puffy😶‍🌫️) Before surgery, I had a final consultation with the director and then went into the operating room. They said they usually recommend 8 to 8.5 mm, but because my eyes look big when flipped outward(?), they recommended 9 mm! I followed the advice of the expert director!!! The surgery started with an anesthetic injection, and before I knew it I fell asleep. The anesthesia wore off a bit early in the middle, so I could hear the sounds of the surgery and got nervous lol I read a lot of surgery reviews, but anesthesia really varies from person to person, so you won't know until you try it yourself! Once the surgery ends and the anesthesia wears off, the pain starts to come gradually, but it's bearable~
