My nose was low and short, but autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty changed my proportions!!!

My nose was short, blunt, and generally thick, and the bridge itself was almost nonexistent, so it always looked stuffy When I lay on my side and cried, the tears would not run down my nose but would leak straight out to the side... lol It also looked spread out and short from the front, so it was a bit stressful.. I spent a long time just worrying about nose surgery, and then finally decided to at least get a consultation, so I met with Director Choo Seong-cheol at Dday, and the consultation was much more detailed than I expected! At first I wondered whether I really needed autologous costal cartilage, but he explained that because the skin is thick and the nasal tip is relatively weak, support is important for a short nose, so he recommended autologous costal cartilage! He talked about it in a way that was not about making it unnaturally dramatic and high, but about naturally improving the length to match my facial proportions, and I liked that part! In the early stages after surgery, it felt a little awkward because of swelling, but as time passed and the lines settled, I gradually felt more at ease! Around one month later, once the nasal tip settled, the short-looking impression was definitely reduced, and even the frontal view looked less stuffy than before! Maybe because it is autologous costal cartilage, the support at the nasal tip feels stable and reassuring, so I am pretty satisfied right now! The scar is also at a level that is almost unnoticeable! It is still only month 3, so they say the swelling still has time to go down, but even now I am quite satisfied with the overall line! Especially the sense of improved length and proportion is definitely visible, so I am looking forward to it becoming even more natural with time haha
