That’s me. It was buried-incision, the line shape is okay, and the double eyelid thickness is on the thinner side, but it looks unnatural when I open and close my eyes. It’s been well over ten years since the surgery… It looks okay when my eyes are open, but when I open and close them, it looks unnatural.. The line is puffy, like sausage eyelids, and feels strongly fixed.. I feel like there aren’t many cases like this ㅠㅠ
I found this out while getting consultations for revision surgery, and they said it’s because the buried sutures were hooked onto the tarsal plate of the eye so that they wouldn’t come undone, which is why the line stays even when I close my eyes, making it look unnatural and obvious. They said this isn’t sausage eyelid. They said surgery usually isn’t done this way..
For improvement, they recommended releasing the existing double eyelid through an incision and doing ptosis correction. I absolutely don’t like dramatic-looking eyes, and I like modest, thin, sharp double eyelids.. I’m debating whether or not to get revision surgery.. If anyone has a similar case.. please leave a comment~
