I'm sharing my 3-month review after male rhinoplasty! I originally worried about the impression my nose gave because it felt long and the tip looked droopy, and I also had functional trouble with breathing, so I had nasal angle correction and functional nose surgery done together.
Now that I'm entering month 3, I can feel the early pressure in my nose and the difference in swelling throughout the day gradually getting smaller. In particular, there used to be a difference in swelling between morning and evening, but now it feels much more stable. It is settling in naturally without the exaggerated look that is often associated with male rhinoplasty, so I'm quite satisfied.
Breathing has definitely improved too. I still sometimes feel a bit stuffy when something gets stuck inside my nose or when it gets dry, but overall I can really feel that breathing has become easier after the functional nose surgery. It feels like it's getting better little by little over time, so I'm taking care of it as part of the recovery process.
The swelling has gone down a lot, so the front and side lines now look much more natural, and thanks to the nasal angle correction, the protruding-mouth impression and the droopy look seem to have improved a lot too. Especially from the side, once the angle of the tip was adjusted, my whole facial balance started to look cleaner.
The columella scar is still slightly there, but it is gradually fading compared with the beginning, and I don't think it is noticeable unless someone looks closely. Overall, I feel it's settling more and more naturally into my original nose as time passes, so I'm satisfied haha
