I decided on surgery right away at the hospital where an acquaintance had theirs..

I usually used eyelid tape because my eyes were small and my vision was blocked by excess fat, and in the end I decided to get double eyelid surgery! I had gone straight to the hospital where an acquaintance had surgery, so I didn't know much and was worried, but they considered the line I wanted and the lines that would likely look good on me and recommended accordingly, which I appreciated. However, because the chief doctor was operating and the hospital was crowded, even if I had a reservation, I had to wait a long time for the first consultation, which was disappointing. Still, on the day of surgery, the consultation and payment went ahead at the reserved time, which was nice. I was nervous because I had heard pain and discomfort during surgery differ from person to person, but for me there was no pain or discomfort from the anesthesia before surgery until the end, and even when the stitches were removed they were very careful, so I didn't really feel pain. From the day of surgery to day 2, the swelling felt unfamiliar and uncomfortable, but other than that there wasn't much discomfort. I didn't get bruises, there was no bleeding, and the tiny blood vessels in my eyes didn't burst, so I could go about daily life without any issues! The pain after surgery was bad only on the day of surgery and until the next morning, and after that it wasn't painful enough to bother me. Now that the major swelling has gone down, I'm already satisfied, but there is still a bit of minor swelling left, and when I close my eyes or look down, you can still see that I had surgery a little, so I'm excited to see how much more I'll like it once more time passes, the swelling goes down further, and the scars become less visible!! It was my first surgery, so I was very nervous, and since I didn't compare many places before choosing, I was worried too. But since there were no side effects or common pain or symptoms, and the result turned out so pretty, I'm extremely satisfied. It's definitely nice that the discomfort and insecurities I felt before surgery seem to be gone!!
