I’ve tried a lot of treatments in my 20s, and I thought I’d leave a review of Fraxel among them. My natural skin was probably pretty good to begin with, but after starting work and eating out at company dinners often, I think my body got really out of balance. If I just slept a little less, breakouts would appear, and if I drank even one or two sips of alcohol, breakouts would appear again,, I suffered with my skin for 5 yearsㅠㅠ You know the giant salamander, right? The kind that dies easily if you so much as poke itㅋㅋㅋㅋ My skin was exactly like that giant salamander skin. My family is in Gyeongbuk, and I even went to a famous Korean medicine clinic in Busan, but it only helped for a while and eventually went back to how it was.
So I ended up looking into Fraxel too. It hurt a lot when I got it done (and there was bloodㅠ), and for 3 days to a week there were marks like pillow impressions too (though I could hide them with a mask because it was COVID time). After finishing all the sessions, the trouble scars and uneven skin tone improved a lot overall, almost like peeling off a layer of skin once.
+But actually, there was something else I started back then for my skin, and that was cardio exercise that makes you sweat. I tried even strong dermatology medications and all sorts of things at the clinic, but honestly, the best thing for improving breakouts seems to be sweaty cardio exercise. My skin got better like magic. Not only did my complexion improve, but even the breakouts that used to show up every day stopped appearing, maybe because I was controlling my body through exercise and helping flush out waste products. And now, more than 2 years later, I can drink alcohol fine and even if I sleep a little less, breakouts don’t come up like before.
Anyway, this starts as a recommendation for Fraxel and ends up as praise for exercise(?), but when you get scars from breakouts and your skin becomes blotchy, Fraxel seems really good. Also, with other procedures, breakouts would slowly start coming back after some time, but after Fraxel I had almost no breakouts for about 2 to 3 months (based on when I wasn’t exercising). So even now, more than 2 years later, I’m still satisfied! (For reference, I live in a provincial area, so I ended up going to this clinic after looking for a dermatologist in the area where I live. The skin medication was prescribed by a specialist, but it was too strong, so I don’t recommend itㅜㅜ After taking it, my head hurt like it was going to split open ㅠㅠ)
