Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Week 2 after contouring 3 procedures at [Clinic A]

I had 3 contouring procedures done at [Clinic A]: 45-degree cheekbones, chin tip, and square jaw contouring, plus submental liposuction. A slim, idol-like face is not my target; I actually excluded hospitals that only had reviews for overly sharp, fragile-looking faces, and I got consultations at four places. I wanted a place that was not factory-style and where the doctor would be in good condition, so I avoided peak season and scheduled the surgery. I decided on [Clinic A] after the consultation because the doctor had a calm style and seemed like they would do a meticulous job. I wanted both the 45-degree and side cheekbones done because I thought it would soften my impression, but I had previously had a quick zygoma surgery that had no effect and only left a hollow, and then I was told the side cheekbone bone is thin enough that it could break, so I did not touch the side cheekbone and only did the 45-degree cheekbone. I do feel a little regret, but safety is the most important thing, so I think it was the right decision. My jaw was not that large, so at another hospital I was recommended shaving only the rounded part, but I thought shaving would have too little effect, so since I wanted to do it properly in one go, I reduced the chin tip by about 3 mm. I was told that if only the chin tip is done, the face can look even rounder, so I also included the square jaw to connect the line. Since the biggest reason my face looked large was that I had too much facial fat, I also had submental liposuction. When I consulted at four hospitals, each place gave different recommendations: some said to do only the jaw, some said only the 45-degree cheekbone was enough. But all four said the double chin was the biggest problem, so I was definitely planning to do that. In the end, I was glad to receive consultation tailored to me. It has only been 2 weeks, so my face is still swollen and the line is not very visible, but when I looked at the CT scan after surgery, it felt like the operation had gone well and was stable, so I am looking forward to the swelling going down ~ I did get a little bruising from the submental liposuction, but it is amazing that there is not a single bruise on the cheekbone area ~
