I had seriously been deliberating about nose surgery for a long time because my bulbous nose that looked spread out from the front and my hooked nose really bothered me T_T But with nose surgery, if you do it wrong, there are so many cases where it ends up looking too artificial, so I was worried I might end up with a completely different image for nothing lol I visited several places for consultations, and at D Day I met Dr. Choo Seong-cheol for a consultation. I had assumed I was definitely the type who needed an implant, right? But the doctor said my bridge is not the kind with absolutely no height at all, so no-implant surgery would be enough, which surprised me lol Honestly, at first I wondered, "If I do no-implant surgery, won’t there be no dramatic change? Won’t it end kind of vaguely?" But after he explained why no-implant surgery would suit me well, it made sense lol He especially picked up right away that I wanted a natural look, and said that if we preserved the strengths of my original nose while only refining the bulbous tip and hump, the overall impression would become much softer. Looking at it now, that really was true lol I searched a lot of no-implant reviews, and there were many saying the foreign-body feeling is less and it stays natural over time, so I ended up deciding on it lol Right after surgery, the swelling was so strong that I could not see any line at all, so I was a little scared, but as the swelling went down, the feeling changed completely lol It has been 3 months now, and the tip is much slimmer and the line is naturally defined!! Since I also had alar base reduction and cartilage suturing, my nose used to look even wider when I smiled, but now it feels much more refined lol What I am happiest about is that the bulbous-nose feeling from the front has been reduced!! The side profile also hardly shows any trace of hump reduction, and it connects naturally in a straight-to-slightly-curved line, exactly the look I wanted lol It looks refined, but not overly dramatic, so I am really satisfied!! And because it is no-implant surgery, the lack of a foreign feeling is also great lol Even when I touch it, it just feels like my own nose, and it seems to get even more natural as time passes! There are still days when some swelling remains in the morning, but the major swelling seems to have mostly gone down, and it feels like it is slowly settling in lol For anyone worrying about a bulbous nose + hooked nose, I recommend not only thinking about an overly glamorous style and definitely getting a no-implant consultation too. I was half skeptical as well, but now I feel like I really made the right choice with Dr. Choo Seong-cheol at D Day, so my satisfaction is very high haha
