Before<Before><2 weeks>-Before the procedure-
I had been worried for a long time because my nose was bulbous and had a hump, and last year my older sister had surgery at Top Face and it turned out so well, so I decided to have surgery too. I heard Director Lee Yoon-hwan is good at bulbous nose surgery, so I decided to have it done by Director Lee Yoon-hwan! When I had my consultation at the clinic, I was able to meet not only the consultant but also the director and talk everything through in advance, so I felt more at ease and thought I should do it here.
-2 weeks-
For a few days after surgery, it hurt a lot, but when I went in for dressing, the nurse was so kind and told me that everyone is in pain around that time, but if I just held on a little longer it would get better, and encouraged me, which was really comforting! The swelling was worst on day 2, and after that it went down noticeably day by day, so it was even fun watching the swelling subside. I had heard that removing the cotton or stitches inside the nose could hurt, so I was really worried, but they did it without it hurting at all. These 2 weeks taught me how precious it is to breathe through my nose… As time passed, I felt like the tip of my nose looked a bit crooked, so I mentioned it on my last visit to the clinic, and they explained it kindly and told me not to worry, so I felt reassured! It seems like the major swelling has gone down a little now, and I’m looking forward to my face once even more swelling goes down.
