At first, only one double eyelid fold kept loosening, so I wanted to do only that side, but once I actually went in for a consultation, I was diagnosed with severe ptosis and told both sides needed to be done to match. I wanted the under-eye fat removed because I wanted it. I originally had natural double eyelids, and at another hospital the doctor even tried to stop me, saying that if he were me he would not touch it and that I was born with pretty eyes, so I begged them to make it as undetectable as possible and had the surgery. I was scared of incision, so I did buried sutures, and the result was good. The shape of my original double eyelids was preserved, and my eyes felt a little more firm. But because it was buried sutures, the stitch knot? shape inside the eyelid was visible from the outside for about 2 years too It is gradually becoming less visible, though.. Later, when I get older and my eyes sag again, I plan to have buried-suture surgery again.
