First of all, I did not have any side effects. But when I said I was scared of nose complications, they said they would then put in only 2 to 3 mm, yet they ended up putting in 4 mm. I thought they would only touch the nose tip with silicone and ear cartilage, but they also inserted cartilage into the support structure and the side wall. That was never mentioned during the consultation. As for the support structure, I do not know whether the cartilage is protruding or whether that is how it originally was, but when I touch it, it bulges out. The doctor says it is because of the support structure, but I do not know whether that is normal. As for the support structure, fine, but the side wall was not mentioned at all, and I found out later that it had been touched when it was removed at another hospital. They said removing the side wall would cause the nose to collapse, so I could not even remove it. Of course, there were no postoperative side effects or functional issues, and the shape was fine too, but I still wish they had explained the surgical method more clearly. The hospital facilities were grand, so I thought I was getting surgery at just a factory-style clinic. And this may be because I did not manage it well, but when they removed it, there was a lot of scar tissue.
