These days it feels like eye surgery is almost a basic thing. Among my friends, some had already done it since high school, and I was a little late in comparison... Before I got even later, I went for a consultation because I wanted to get double eyelid surgery. When I see most people getting double eyelid surgery, they also get canthoplasty, and I really agonized over whether I should do it too. The director really pointed out exactly what I was worried about, which surprised me a bit. They recommended canthoplasty too, saying it would make the eyes clearer and more open and suit me well. It felt like they had opened up the blocked part for me? haha This is why people go to consultations, I guess. I did not know much about cosmetic surgery, but after going to consultations I feel like I gained some professional knowledge too.
