Eye Surgery Considerations

Review of Liting

I had a Smile lifting procedure on June 9, and I have been suffering from aftereffects and side effects until now! At first it seemed okay, but starting June 19 the swelling began! I even had to take antibiotics for more than a month! The doctor said they would also handle aftercare, so about a month and a half later I visited the hospital! The staff manager in charge had quit, and they assigned a different manager instead! So when I went in for the consultation, they were speaking to customers in a really unpleasant tone, almost like an order. When I asked if they knew the name of the antibiotic I had taken, I said I did not know, and they said that when two main kinds are commonly used, taking them for more than a week would not help anyway! It was absurd for someone who was not a doctor to talk about another doctor’s prescription, and doctor Lee Seong-jun just acted like he knew nothing! They said they had nothing to do with it! They told me to go complain at the hospital where the filler side effect supposedly happened, and then they prescribed just one antibiotic tablet for one week. They said if it still hurt after taking the medicine, we could do a filler-dissolving injection procedure. Even the pharmacist was surprised, asking whether there were no other prescriptions and whether they had really only prescribed an antibiotic. If I am saying it hurts in the first place, should not an anti-inflammatory painkiller and stomach medicine be standard? And why are they bringing up a filler side effect from 20 years ago here? Before that, I had lived without even knowing what side effects were, no matter what I did! So I went to another hospital for a consultation, and they said filler from 20 years ago was too old to be a side-effect case and that there had been no such case. Then I came back two days later! It hurt even more! I arrived at 10:40 in the morning. My assigned manager had quit, so that previous manager, Manager Jeon Hwi-yeon, came in. When I explained the situation, she said that filler from 20 years ago could be a side effect. She acts like she is the doctor here! It is as if she thinks she can recite old knowledge after three years in the academy. She is a manager, not some big-company executive. Excuse me, you are, strictly speaking, a customer service consultant. Then she started shouting, and the argument began! If Manager Jeon Hwi-yeon is responding to customers by shouting at them like that, what customer would just stand there quietly? Get it together! If your face were in this condition and the other side were being rude, how would you respond? People react relative to the situation! Then the coordinator guided me down to the basement level 1, and when I got there, there was nobody there, only three hospital staff members and me! They took me into Consultation Room 1, which did not even have CCTV installed, and we argued again. I kept asking several times to be switched to another manager because I was so unhappy with Manager Jeon Hwi-yeon, but the staff acted like they did not hear me and refused to change her to the end. The male manager kept saying things like the two of us were just not compatible, saying it five or six times, but still would not change her. The chief doctor comes down at 5, but does not come out, and came together with the manager Jeon instead. So I said I did not want that, I did not want to even see her face, and then doctor Lee Seong-jun also left together. It was infuriating! They then instructed over the intercom to prescribe another medicine. In the middle of that, I heard the word antibiotic, so I told Manager Jeon that antibiotics would not be acceptable, but she said who says that? So I said the hospital said so, and she asked which hospital. I said a university hospital, and she asked which university hospital. So I said Hallym University. She acts like she is the doctor! She says she has worked in hospitals for 17 years, so she knows most medicines. If that is the case, then become a doctor! Why are you working as a manager here when you could just be a pharmacist? In decades, this is the first time I have ever seen a manager like this. The argument just kept going and never ended, and since they would not even change the manager, I ended up calling the police and leaving the hospital! I am currently receiving treatment even at psychiatry. When I posted on Babitalk in the free-talk section, they flagged it as obstruction of business and defamation! So I wrote another review while uploading before-and-after photos! Babitalk customer support contacted me. They said there has been a lot of flagged content lately where people threaten to delete posts on grounds like defamation or business interference, and they said they would restore the post I had deleted. What kind of world is this now? If delivery food is not tasty, people write honestly and in detail, and then would everyone be guilty of defamation? My face is sunken in like it was stabbed by a needle, the lower part is swollen and throbbing, I am in pain, I have not been able to sleep for days, and I have developed depression and social anxiety, so I cannot even go outside! Manager Jeon Hwi-yeon, I will never forgive you, got it? There are more victims than I expected. There are quite a few people who went through the same thing as me. Some of the victims are even talking about banding together to file a lawsuit. And I want to make it clear that I was never properly informed about any later side effects, and from the very beginning through the end, before the surgery, I was not given accurate informed consent!
