Because I had a lot of eye fat and small eyes, I thought I'd need an incision, but they recommended buried sutures. The surgery took about 30 minutes, so it ended quickly, and it didn't hurt at all. I had gauze and tape on for a week, which was a bit hard.. After a week I removed the gauze, and the swelling was honestly shocking; it was very puffy.. From other reviews, I thought the swelling would be mostly gone after a week, but mine was severe. Removing the stitches stung a little. For a month I regretted it.. The double eyelid thickness looked like a sausage, the two sides were uneven, and the swelling didn't seem to be going down, so I felt depressed. By 3 months it had gone down by 60%. It seemed like it took about 2 years for the last bit of swelling to disappear completely.. Maybe I just have a constitution that swells slowly. Once it was fully gone, the double eyelid became thinner and the line seemed to turn out as an in-out line. But because it was buried sutures, the inner corner side seems to have loosened like the stitches came undone. The double eyelid line is interrupted.. That's a bit disappointing.. The front canthoplasty scar is also slightly visible. It seems to be done naturally and well, but if the eyelid skin is thick, the sutures can come undone later. If you open your eyes wide, it becomes a hidden double eyelid. My uneven eyes stayed the same before and after.
