Before<before>After<after>After my first surgery, because of my drooping nasal tip, I looked into revision surgery again and ended up getting it! For my first surgery, I just thought the shape came first, and I went to places where I thought the shape looked pretty from reviews and even got surgery there. But for this revision surgery, I looked into hospitals specializing in noses, and instead of prioritizing the shape, I focused on checking my nose condition and the direction it could change in? I mainly had consultations about things like that, and the level of the consultations really was different.. During the consultation, I understood why everyone says you should go to a nose-specialized hospital!
Because they didn't consider my nose condition and just tried to make the shape, my nasal tip eventually drooped. During the consultation, the focus was mostly on understanding my current nose condition rather than the shape, and then they explained the improvements after that. Of course, it could be because the director is a specialist, but that made me trust them a lot.
There were hospitals that recommended costal cartilage and such, but I decided on ear cartilage with cartilage suturing and a columellar strut surgery. I liked the director's opinion that instead of overdoing it to raise the nose, we should find natural improvements!
After surgery, when I saw the shape, it came out much prettier than I had expected, and as the swelling went down and it settled into place, I liked it even more because it looked natural..ㅠ I do regret not doing it at a nose-specialized hospital earlier, but I'm going to be thankful that it succeeded nowㅠㅠ Looking at the shape, it changed a lot, right ㅠㅠ???
