Before I write the review, my takeaways from getting arm liposuction are! Rather than getting injections, let's just do liposuction!: I had stewardess shots? arm Botox? and they had zero effect. If you are going to get liposuction, do not get injections like arm Botox: they say injections can make liposuction surgery harder.
------------------------------- I think I had been considering liposuction since I was very young, since my early 20s. I strongly wanted to do it, but it was not easy to make the decision, and a post written by a doctor on a community I often visit helped me make up my mind. I liked how the doctor answered each and every inquiry comment in that post, so I left a question too, and they answered clearly and confidently about my concerns, which gave me the confidence to book a consultation. There were two consultations, one with the doctor and one with the manager, and they discouraged me when I said I wanted liposuction not only on my arms but everywhere else, telling me only the areas that were really needed, which made a strong impression because they were confident about the surgical method, the post-op shape of my arms, and aftercare. And the consultation manager seemed to know I would probably visit other hospitals too, and even gave me consultation tips like, "If you happen to consult elsewhere, check points A, B, and C." People usually say to consult several places before surgery, but I only consulted this one hospital and left after putting down the deposit the same day
The surgery took 1 hour and 5 minutes, and they removed a total of 1300 cc. My arms were more muscular than I expected.. It seems like they removed a bit less than in other cases, but the size of my upper arms definitely decreased! They say you can return to daily life right away, but for me, for the first 3 days I could not manage without painkillers, and for about a week it hurt a lot even if someone merely brushed against my arm. Still, after a week, rather than pain, I was happy watching the swelling go down and seeing it get prettier
The swelling lasts longer than expected. At one month I thought, has it gone down a lot? But it keeps going down from there ㄷㄷ
