I heard this was a conscientious plastic surgery clinic that criticized the so-called black plastic surgery clinics.. Coincidentally, Cheonan is my hometown, so I went down there and got a consultation.
First of all, my nose has a dorsal hump and is crooked to one side.
Please excuse the roughness since this was my first time going around for consultations..
They said a dorsal hump isn’t shaved off, but filed down, but I honestly didn’t really understand what they meant.
For the asymmetry, they said they would bind it with cartilage and place Alloderm on top. They also covered the remaining Alloderm over the dorsal hump area.
They said they wouldn’t shave above the hump because my skin is thin.
I didn’t get a CT scan, and the consultation fee was 5,000 won. By card it was 280, by cash 250.
I was leaning toward a no-implant approach, so I liked it, and they even showed me via Photoshop how my nose would look after surgery. But I had been thinking of a straight-but-slightly-curved line, and what they showed me was completely straight.. When I said I didn’t want a straight line and asked if it could be made slightly curved, they said then the nose would lift up and become a snub nose, so it couldn’t be done ㅠ
And since it would be no implant, they would just shave the hump and lift the nose only a tiny bit, so the before-and-after difference wasn’t that big haha.. Maybe that’s why everyone was telling me not to do it and trying to stop me haha.......
So I’m planning to get consultations in Seoul and decide ㅠ
