I consulted about a philtrum scar and lip asymmetry. They recommended improving the asymmetry rather than the scar. They showed review photos and said there would be improvement with philtrum surgery. If only the inside is done, the mouth becomes triangular, so they recommended the outer area, the corners of the mouth, and the hollows as well.
People around me do not really notice the asymmetry, so my acquaintances do not recommend surgery, and I am worried that this is too many items. The manager and the doctor persuade me that this is obviously necessary in order to improve it. The doctor looks extremely busy. Between treatment and the wait for anesthesia, they keep moving from room to room as if they are doing consultations in between, and are very busy. When I ask about things I am worried about from a patient perspective, they say it is a mechanical surgery that they have already done over a thousand times, so there is no problem. There were too many recommended items, the doctor was too busy for sufficient consultation, and it felt like a general explanation rather than something customized to me.
