The director looks over things so carefully. They have a good eye and aesthetic sense, and can accurately see my face better than I can myself. As expected, you cannot ignore the experience that comes with doing this sort of work. But when I said I was going to look around a bit more at other places, the consultation manager's tone changed slightly, which felt a little off.
