Only here did they not take a CT scan.. They just looked at me on site. I visited five other places besides here, and this was the only place that recommended osteotomy. When I told another place that this hospital had recommended osteotomy, they said osteotomy absolutely was not necessary.. For reference, I found out at another place after getting a CT scan that I had a deviated septum, and if I had gone ahead with osteotomy too, my airway would have become extremely narrow.. These are the kinds of things you need to identify in advance during consultation if you want to know the surgery cost properly. Maybe because I had just graduated from being a minor and went alone, they thought I looked young and brushed me off. The woman who consulted me was kind of casual.. and the doctor was basically done in about one minute. The facilities are top-notch, and they even do valet parking. But something felt off, so I did not have the surgery.. I think that was the right choice.
