I used to wear double eyelid tape and then got surgery. Only one side of my double eyelid would sometimes form and sometimes not, but the line it made when it did form looked good, so I asked them to match that line. Eyelid correction definitely improved my ability to open my eyes, and I like how much clearer they look now.
