I went to get a consultation for male eye correction and canthoplasty. Since my eyes are short horizontally, I asked about both inner and outer canthoplasty, but because there wasn't enough available space, outer canthoplasty was cut right away. For inner canthoplasty too, since I don't really have much of an epicanthal fold, I was told it would be hard to widen it much. They said they would set the surgical plan with the most natural result as the priority, so it was reassuring, but I got the feeling it would be hard to reflect personal preferences in the surgical direction the director proposed.
