Nose Surgery Reviews

Faceline review

The hospital building itself has been around for a long time, so the restroom was outside, which surprised me. But the wait was short at the time of my consultation appointment, and I was satisfied because the consultation was quick.

I consulted with two doctors, one for facial contouring (Director Lee Jin-su) and one for rhinoplasty (Director Lee Tae-hee). When diagnosing the face, they did not rely on CT or X-ray images for numerical diagnosis; instead, they checked my face directly and recommended surgery only for the areas that were most necessary (zygoma, receding chin, long curve), and said the square jaw did not need to be done (other hospitals had included the square jaw).

They said the fixation method uses wire, not pins, so after surgery there is less feeling of something being there than with pin fixation, and that it is not weaker than pins. Because they do not remove the square jaw, same-day discharge is possible and the recovery period is short, which they emphasized. What I liked most was that they only operate on the necessary parts and the recovery period is short.

For functional + cosmetic nose surgery, they said they would insert a thin silicone bridge without osteotomy, raise the tip with septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and perform it in a non-incisional way. They said that because there is no incision, the recovery period is short and bleeding is minimal.

The surgery cost was on the expensive side compared with other hospitals.
