I had facial contouring x4 here one month ago (square jaw, long curved jaw, chin, zygoma). I chose this hospital after being recommended because I wanted a natural line, and before choosing I looked at lots of before-and-after photos from each hospital. The line after surgery here was exactly the line I wanted. I have a small head and not much facial fat, and I wanted to smooth out my overall line and have a softer impression, so I got the surgery. People in this field told me that for someone with a face like mine who wants a natural line, this hospital is a good choice~ After all, satisfaction with plastic surgery results comes down to design. The director appeared on Let Me In, and he is already very famous for contouring and orthognathic surgery. Also, the number of surgeries listed in papers is far beyond other doctors, so that also made me trust him. (Safety first)
1. Design Most of the swelling has gone down now, and the line came out well. There is no sign of surgery at all, and it looks natural, soft, and yet slim lol. The fact that the cheekbones came down so much is amazing lol.
2. Pain After surgery, the pain was more like discomfort from the drain and difficulty due to swelling? I stayed in the hospital for one day, and they kept giving painkillers and antibiotics, so there wasn't much pain. After discharge, I was swollen and struggling until about day 4, but other than that, aside from some pulling and throbbing at the place where the gums were cut, there was almost no pain. Oh, I tied the compression bandage too tightly, so the cheekbone area hurt irregularly at times while I was wearing it.
3. Post-op care This seems so-so compared with other hospitals. While I was consulting around, I heard a lot about aftercare, and there were many places that seemed to want to do better than here.
4. Cost It was the most expensive among the hospitals I consulted. Probably because the director has a lot of experience.
