[Clinic A] Review

This is definitely a place that does not do proxy surgery or ghost surgery. At other places, when I asked when the surgery schedule would be, some places said they couldn't tell me unless I put down a reservation deposit; there were also places like that (2 large clinics), but here they opened the schedule right away and told me the open slots immediately. Also, another staff member called the manager outside for a moment, and she left the schedule screen on. I looked and saw that the consultation and surgery appointments were arranged without overbooking or unreasonable stacking. Both the manager and the director gave the consultation in a very friendly way. The director told me to ask about the areas I wanted improved and anything I was curious about, and then answered those questions during the consultation. It was more like self-directed learning than a lecture-style consultation. If it was your first consultation or you didn't know much about the procedure you wanted, you might not feel like you got a fully satisfying or expert consultation, because you simply might not have much to ask. They did also discuss areas beyond the ones I wanted, but they didn't push hard. I liked that they basically said cosmetic surgery is a choice, so only do the parts you want. And among the clinics I consulted, this was the only place that said, when I asked about side effects, that all cosmetic surgeries can cause inflammation (+other side effects too), which gave me more trust than clinics that just say there are no side effects and everything will be fine. The price was not bad either, but... During the consultation with the manager, she kept pushing me to decide on this place and kept trying to schedule the surgery for a very soon date, which made me feel uncomfortable, so in the end I decided to have surgery elsewhere. Looking back and thinking about it, it wasn't bad overall, but somehow... I just didn't feel drawn to it instinctively.
