I had double eyelid surgery with incision + eye correction, and they left a very noticeable scar on my left side. They also caused my eye mucosa to turn outward. Before surgery, when I drew eyeliner, I used to just fill in the space along the lashes; I never filled in the mucous membrane area. Because of this mucosal eversion, I now have to apply makeup all the way onto the mucous membrane, and my eyes get so fatigued that I'm dying, and I was so stressed that I went back to the clinic, but they said that my eyes had always been that way 5555555555.
I wear eyeliner every day, so how am I supposed to tell the difference from just one case of mucosal eversion?? From the early stage of recovery until one or two months later, when I called a few times about the mucosal eversion, they said it was swelling and that I had to wait. But now they say it was my eyes that were like that from the start... Really.
And whenever you go back to the clinic because you're dissatisfied after surgery, it seems they all say the same thing.
From their point of view, I look much prettier than before, or I was already like that before surgery, things like that.
At the first consultation before surgery, the doctor just said what they had to say and left, but when I went back because I was unhappy after surgery, they instead got irritated, raised their voice, and left quickly again.
I'm still living with stress because of these eyes. Even looking in the mirror every day is hard, and I've even had bad thoughts several times.
Everyone, please make sure to meet a doctor who communicates well with patients.
Ah! And the surgery cost is much higher than at other clinics. But I regret paying that amount so much, and it is so hard that I wish I could turn back time.
I have to save up even more money again to prepare for revision surgery, and it's just so, so hard on my mind.
