I had it done in 2015, and there were so many Chinese patients coming for medical tourism that the hospital was packed, but the consultation was kind. I had very monolid, unattractive eyes, but the results before and after double eyelid surgery were so different that my friends kept asking which hospital I went to. Even when I told people I had double eyelid surgery, first-time acquaintances would not believe it. Even when I looked downward, there was not a single scar left. But my eyes were very unattractive to begin with, so that probably made the before-and-after difference seem even bigger, and there was a bit of an epicanthoplasty scar left. Damn...
