- I found T-osteotomy too burdensome, so I had the procedure done at this hospital. It has now been about 4 years since the procedure, and I am doing well without discomfort such as sagging or sensory changes. - They handled my face shape well in a way that suited it. Maybe because they do not insert screws, it did not end up as a perfectly sharp V-line. (Though that may also be due to my own face shape..) Even during the consultation, they talked about keeping it natural and said a sharp V-line would be difficult. On the X-ray, it had been neatly cut into a round U shape. Still, because there are no screws, I have been able to live comfortably without burden. - After I had square-jaw surgery done somewhere else, they only did the chin here, which created a secondary angle. They really only did the chin here. I do wonder whether it would have been different if I had also done the square jaw here. - If you already have asymmetry, it may be worth keeping that in mind. The asymmetry is still exactly the same as before surgery.
