This is the second week after my double-eyelid revision surgery. Before surgery, I wasn’t all that dissatisfied with my eyes, but because there were slight scars and my eyes were long, I spent years thinking about it before finally getting the surgery because I wanted round, large eyes. The reason I chose this clinic was that there were almost no scars after surgery. Seeing photos of people whose small double eyelids still turned into large eyes made me think that even if my eyes weren’t pretty, at least I could get large eyes without scars, so I decided. At the first consultation only, I felt like they were being rather perfunctory, but on the day of surgery, during the second consultation, they were very kind. When I showed them the eyes I wanted, they said it was possible, and they also said they would provide AS within one year, so I trusted the confident director and had the surgery. On day 5, I removed the stitches, and on day 12 I went back for a follow-up. When I said they were uneven, they said they would match over time, and when I said the inner eye scar tissue was severe and stung and burned, they said it would disappear with time as expected. When I said the lower-eye widening was also uneven, they said if they lowered it more it would make me look sad. The kind attitude from before surgery was gone. They just said, as if it were bothersome, that everything would settle and disappear with time. The swelling is definitely less than at other clinics, though. I think I liked my eyes before surgery better sigh.
