I had it done two years ago, and I like the result. It gave a more cute-looking impression? It changed into a rabbit-like look. I had no philtrum groove at all, so it looked flat, but the doctor told me to do that too, and it was so good! But if someone around me said they were going to do it, I would definitely try to stop them. Because I was unemployed for 1 month? 2 months? so I did not meet anyone, always ate alone, and when eating I held my upper lip with my hand. I constantly ate by soaking food in soup or cutting everything with scissors. If you are an ordinary office worker or live with family and talk a lot or laugh, you will just end up with an irreversible scar and be in big trouble. I have a thin white scar left, so mine is on the lighter side, but right after the surgery one of the stitches seemed to open a little and it was annoying, and exactly that part turned a little whiter and more noticeable, which made me sad T_T ... Still, overall I feel relieved and satisfied. Back when I had mine done, this clinic used to upload mainly philtrum reduction videos on YouTube and also had a Naver cafe where patients posted reviews. But after some people in the cafe started complaining about scars, they shut down the cafe, and somehow the YouTube channel stopped posting philtrum content too T_T So if you are someone who can manage it like crazy and has good skin, then go for it after serious thought, but I think this is definitely not a surgery to take lightly. Also, do not expect the doctor to be as kind as in the YouTube videos. Still, they told me I had a long philtrum and an unconscious habit of lifting it, pointed out my asymmetry, and I think they have good aesthetic sense. It is just that philtrum reduction itself is a risky surgery, so that is why T_T
