After my older brother's wedding date was set, my mom kept nagging me to do something about the lower eyelids on my dad that looked full of annoyance, until my ears were basically callused, so I ended up working hard to research clinics almost by force... It was hard to go consult at every hospital with my dad, so I chose among clinics that matched the conditions we wanted. First, they specialized only in eyes, it was a private clinic so the number of staff for care was limited, and the cost matched our budget exactly. So I decided to go for a consultation, and when we went, there was no upselling like 'if you do this, it will be better~' and the director's plain diagnosis that lower blepharoplasty alone would be enough satisfied both me and my dad, so we had the surgery as soon as possible! At first the whole family, including my dad, felt unfamiliar, but after about a month we got used to it, and when I looked again, his impression had become softer compared to before surgery and he looked at least 10 years younger lol At first he grumbled about why we were even operating on him, but these days he looks in the mirror more often, and even if he does not say it, you can tell he is satisfied, which is kind of cute lol
