I had a lower eyelid foreign body removal surgery through an incision under the eye. The incision scar healed neatly, but the foreign body inside was not removed at all, and I only ended up hugely swollen, so I was a monster for a month. What a waste of time. The hospital says it will come out over a year, but it is almost 10 months now and there has been no change at all.
