Including the removal surgery, this was my fourth nose surgery. A previous hospital had done the surgery wrong, so Dr. Gok removed it. Since Dr. Gok prefers autologous dermis, I reluctantly looked for another hospital for costal cartilage surgery, but because of my urgent situation, I kept asking and asking (I had a wedding planned) and had the consultation on December 21, then surgery the very next day, December 22.
I had surgery on December 22, and because of the wedding, since I was going to fix the nose anyway, I decided to do the procedures I had written above all at once. I thought if I was going to hurt, it would be better to hurt once. (This was my choice, not something the hospital recommended.)
Because I did not have enough material, they said they had to build up the bridge with costal cartilage and wrap the tip with perichondrium over the costal cartilage. A very small amount of ear cartilage was left, and they used that too. For the paranasal augmentation, since they were already taking costal cartilage for the nose, they just put in the costal cartilage as a service without charging me haha. Maybe because I paid calmly all at once and had surgery right away the next day. After the contouring surgery, they also decided to remove the dense scar tissue and fat that had sagged due to fat grafting in the chin. The cheekbone lift and lower canthoplasty were done by Director Kim.
The surgery started around 2:30, and when I woke up it was 8 p.m. Because everything was done at once, it was the hardest experience of my life. It was the hardest.
Anyway, although it has not even been a month yet, 1. I am very satisfied that the contracted nostrils came down 2. I am very satisfied that the round tip became rounder
It was extremely hard and painful, and my nose felt completely boxed in, but the tip collapse has now been corrected by 97 percent. The pig nose comes down very well haha
3. Very satisfied with the double-chin suction 4. Very satisfied that they removed the clumped fat from the chin 5. Very satisfied with the paranasal augmentation they added as a service 6. Cheekbone lifting. Honestly, this would only synergize once the jaw is also done, so this is just so-so. 7. Lower canthoplasty was done without an incision, but I think they could have opened it a little more.. Anyway, it is not a D-shape, so I am satisfied.
What I am dissatisfied with. 1. They raised the glabella by 4 mm, but it is too high. (That is why I do not like my side profile.)
2. The bridge of my nose is uneven. (Regarding this part, they said it is still swelling and will gradually go down. If I am still unhappy after 6 months, they said they can lower it by a method other than surgery, so I chose to wait 6 months. They are not the kind of director who does surgery and then leaves you alone. I really feel grateful that I met Director Jeong.)
The total surgery cost was between 11 million and 12 million won. They are famous for not giving discounts, which is fine.
The consultation coordinator and operating room staff were very kind. The directors were also very professional and kind in consultation. Especially for someone like me who developed social anxiety because of contracture nose, Even showing my pig nose openly to another person was not easy, even if that person was a doctor.. But they conducted the consultation very comfortably even after seeing my pig nose. (I am also very grateful to the consultation coordinator.)
I trust them, so after the 25th I plan to get jaw lifting and forehead filler. This is a hospital I trust.
Although I am somewhat dissatisfied because of the glabella, I think that can be checked later and redone if needed, and other than that, the tip was corrected to near perfection, so I am still very grateful for that..
