Iwabek Review

This is a review from day 37 after my double eyelid incision surgery. In the end, I’m satisfied because the line came out clean without being overdone. During the consultation, they said my eyes were prominent, so they would not make the line too large, just keep it appropriate, and that because my eyelid skin was sagging, I needed the incision method. My eyes are long horizontally, so they said I did not need canthoplasty. I consulted about 7 clinics, and 5 of them said I needed eye muscle correction, so I was debating it. Here, the director said the reason was my sagging eyelid skin, but that my eyelid-opening strength was fine, so eye muscle correction was not necessary. They also shaped the line well during the consultation, and since they did not recommend unnecessary surgery, I chose this place. On the surgery day, when they adjusted the line again, they said they would make it a little higher than an inner double eyelid but still natural, which put me at ease. The local anesthesia stung a little, but it was bearable, and the atmosphere throughout the surgery was comfortable, so I felt like I had worried for nothing After surgery, I visited on the second day for dressing, on the 4th day for partial stitch removal, and on the 6th day for full stitch removal. Each time I went, I also got swelling laser treatment and a consultation with the director, who said it was going well, which was a relief. It has only been a little over a month, so there is still some residual swelling, and the swelling is going down a bit unevenly, but it is at a barely noticeable level. For an incision procedure, it is quite natural, so I’m satisfied. My eyes also open better than before. The only downside is that the director is not very talkative, so during the consultation, please prepare your questions and what you want in advance so you can have a thorough discussion.
