Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of Iwabaek

Since I was looking for revision surgery, the price may be a bit different. The doctor gave off a confident vibe. I went in the afternoon, and the clinic was smaller than I expected and pretty quiet since it was near closing time. I filled out the chart and had the consultation, and the doctor wasn’t particularly kind or unkind, but I got the sense he wanted to finish a bit quickly...? The consultation manager was kind too, and although there was no pressure to pay a deposit, there was some feeling that she also wanted to wrap things up quickly...? At the very least, if I had surgery here I didn’t think they would completely ruin my eyes, but they recommended full incision. They said they could do partial incision or non-incision, but the result might be unsatisfactory and it could loosen. I wasn’t even thinking about full incision, so I’m still 고민중. My eye already had an inner corner correction, but it was opened up strangely, so it wasn’t easy to make the double-eyelid line look pretty. Still, they didn’t recommend revision inner-corner surgery because they said the red caruncle was already visible enough. It felt like they wanted to compromise safely and do a surgery with less dramatic change, and avoid any chance of messing it up. I’m not going to a beauty pageant or anything, so that level is satisfactory for me. I completely agree with not doing inner-corner surgery... but all the sample double-eyelid photos the manager showed were of eyes with inner-corner correction, so I couldn’t tell what results someone with eyes like mine would get. And the atmosphere made it a bit hard to ask questions. I think the doctor would be good at surgery. Aftercare is for 1 year.
