I had semi-out line double eyelid surgery using the natural adhesion method with Director Yoo Ha-hyun at JT Plastic Surgery.
Originally, I had uneven eyes with a double eyelid only on the right side, so during the consultation I said I wanted to match the semi-out line on my right eye. The director went through each condition needed for a semi-out line and said my eyes were suitable for it, except that my skin was slightly thick. I also said I wanted canthoplasty, but since my horizontal eye length is long, the director said I did not need it. They also said that if I had epicanthoplasty while creating a semi-out line, it could end up as an in-out line instead. There was no excessive recommending.
Also, when measuring the current length, the distance between my eyes and the width around my nose were the same, but because my nasal tip is a bit spread out and upturned, they said that if epicanthoplasty narrowed the distance between my eyes, my nostril wings could stand out even more. They consulted while looking at the overall balance.
On the day of surgery, it finished quickly, and I was so swollen that I wondered how I would get home, but once I got home, it had all gone down lol. The swelling really went down fast. I did not even drink pumpkin juice. I think sleeping sitting up is the most effective!
I did not have worries in the middle like whether the line had been set wrong, and it settled smoothly into the line I wanted. Good good!!
