I had a consultation for surgery because I was self-conscious about my hump nose, and I never got to meet the doctor. I’d always been self-conscious about having a big nose, and the consultant said that while a small nose can be made bigger, a big nose can’t be made smaller, so if they shaved down the hump and inserted silicone it would become higher and more glamorous. So I worried that if my face is small but only my nose gets bigger, what then, and they said we could also do a paranasal augmentation and the eyes at the same time. I went home crying..
