I wanted to do my eyes and nose, so I asked people around me, and there were a lot of stories like, "A friend's acquaintance had it done at [Clinic G] and it turned out well~" So I searched all over the internet, but compared with [Clinic G]'s popularity in Daegu, there were surprisingly few reviews. I mainly wanted to do my nose, so I wanted to go to a doctor who was good with noses. I heard Dr. Yechunho was really famous, so I was worried when I made the consultation appointment. I had seen some bad reviews. But now I wonder why I was so worried. I had my consultation today and liked it so much that I did not even ask anyone else, I am writing this because I liked it myself.
My eyes are somewhat protruding, lol The director looked at them and asked if I sleep with my eyes open, lol When I asked how he knew, lol he said that if you have a lot of fat in your eyes and they are protruding like that, the fat in the eyes moves upward, making the double eyelid fold layered and the eyes not close well. So he said that even if I got ptosis correction, it might look better externally, but my eyes would be extremely tired. (Actually I have severe dry eye, and even the eye clinic told me to use artificial tears often. And the double eyelids really do look different depending on how I feel.)
He also said my eyes do not look ugly outwardly, so I probably would not need double eyelid surgery, and if I really wanted it, keeping the line I already have would be the best choice. He said if I made the line too large I would end up with frog eyes, lol He actually showed me by drawing the line with something like a wire, and it looked awful.
When I asked about lateral canthoplasty, he said my eyes are already fairly large, so a lot of the white of the eyes is showing, and if I did lateral canthoplasty too, it would look bad, lol
He really understood my face well, and explained everything very carefully and in detail while showing me various photos.
As for my nose, I have a bit of a high bridge, but I did not like the tip being blunt. The director looked at it too and said it would be better not to touch the bridge. Because my face is on the long side, raising the bridge too would make me look older and make my eyes look too close together. And he said that if the tip were made with septal cartilage, it would be a bit stiff and when I smile I could look like an old witch, lol, so he suggested using ear cartilage instead!
He said my nose also has a bit of a hump and is somewhat crooked. (I look at my nose every day, but this was the first time I realized it. After hearing him, I looked in the mirror and it really was like that.) When I said the bone? on the side of my bridge seemed too wide, he said the left side was fine, but the right side could be shaved down a bit. (It really was more prominent on the right than on the left.)
I had originally decided I would definitely do it with Dr. Yechunho at [Clinic G], but after looking around, reading reviews, and seeing some saying the consultation was too cursory, or that they had revision surgery because they were unhappy with the result, I thought I should look elsewhere too. But after today’s consultation, I felt there was no need to look any further, so I booked the surgery date right away and paid the deposit.
The staff were all kind, and above all the director looked at me very carefully, (they even took comparison photos of me and the director. They took a picture of me with my phone camera, then suddenly flipped the phone around and told me to take one of themselves, lol. Then they compared them and explained my condition very well.) They understood my face so well that I thought, yes, this is the place! The consultation was quite long too. People who say the consultation is short probably went during the busy season(?). When I went, there were not many people, so maybe they were able to spend a long time with me-
