Lamiche Review

I had it done 4 years ago, and the surgery was performed by a director who is no longer affiliated with this place. They have now opened a practice somewhere else! It has been 4 years, so I am writing this after finding out about this app. Long post warning! The conclusion is that I am satisfied, but please think carefully and, unless you are extremely obese, try dieting first! And once you get liposuction, you must NEVER gain weight again. Scarring depends on the person, but for most people it lasts more than a year.

Trigger: even back when I weighed in the low 40-kilo range, people who discouraged me from arm liposuction were shocked when I showed them my arms or showed them photos, because compared with the rest of my body, my arms had so much fat and it was stressful. Consultation-procedure: First, I downloaded two apps and applied to a hospital event that was the first one I saw at the time, and the consultation was not great. It was only a coordinator consultation, but they pushed me hard to pay the deposit until the very end, and I was taking medication at the time, yet they didn't explain the precautions. Even though I said I was taking medicine and wanted surgery as soon as possible, they told me to just do it today. They were famous for that... So I searched all over the apps again (thinking about it now, maybe most of it was just ads or viral marketing?) and looked for a huge number of real reviews and side-effect stories. I joined anti-cosmetic-surgery cafes and liposuction cafes on Naver and filtered out every hospital with even a little bit of side-effect feedback. As a result, there were not many hospitals left to choose from. One place gave me a phone consultation estimate, but it was way over my budget at the time, so I didn't go. Looking back, I think you really have to go to many consultations. Then I went to Lamiche, and the consultation was good. The coordinator was kind, and when I said I was taking medication, they didn't set an unreasonable schedule. During the consultation with the director, they looked at my InBody results and my photos and calmly explained what could and could not be done. I was so scared of side effects at the time, like unevenness or asymmetry, that I brought photos of all those problems and asked why they happen. I told them I was fine even if there was no effect, as long as there were no side effects, but they said there wasn't enough fat in my body to take so much that side effects would happen, and that they would remove just enough to make the line neat and pretty. The price was good too. It was arm plus axillary breast tissue plus tax and anesthesia included, so the price was good, and the compression garment was 120,000 won and medication was 40,000 won separately. I stopped the medication on the day of consultation and scheduled surgery for one week later. Until the day of surgery, I was truly nervous and scared, and I remember the director, coordinator, and even the nurses encouraging me. Recovery after surgery was about like other people? Looking back now, swelling went down faster than other people and there was not much discomfort. The compression garment alteration was done immediately on the day the stitches were removed... There was not much bruising, the line was pretty, and for aftercare I saw the director once and had three sessions of radio frequency, but I only went to one session and couldn't attend the others because of my schedule. Still, from the surgery to aftercare, I have been satisfied so far.

However, the reason I am writing about the surgery experience is that I want to say: don't take it lightly, and make sure to visit many consultations and, if possible, go to places that do ultrasound plus blood tests. Think through every possible case that could happen. Looking back, I only asked whether an anesthesiology specialist was on site, and I didn't even ask about CCTV. I was never worried about scars to begin with because I already have many tattoos and am not that sensitive. Even with good care, scars can last more than a year. It depends on the person, but sensitive people will be stressed. And in my case, after liposuction, arm exercise is a bit difficult. It is not to the point of interfering with daily life, and I can still do intense exercise and use strength without trouble, but I get tired faster and feel stiff more often than other people. I thought of that as a after-effect for about 6 months after surgery, and from 1 year later on I thought it was because I had liposuction. Even so, I do not regret it. People still tell me I am thin. But as soon as I start gaining even a little weight, it shows up right away to my eyes, and even if others do not notice it, I feel stressed without realizing it. The area that had liposuction does not get fat again; instead, fat accumulates in other areas little by little, so it becomes a new complex. That is why they say you have to manage it for life. If you are doing it with the determination to lose it through liposuction and maintain it for life, you will probably keep it well. But as people live life... there are often times when that is hard. Dieting is hard. But unless you are truly so severely obese that everyday life is difficult, or you feel like you could die because of your upper arms, I would like to suggest starting with diet and strength training first.
