I went to consult with Director Jang because of contracture. He looked at everything really carefully, especially the inside of my nose. He also explained things in an easy-to-understand way using a nose model, taking it out and saying this is the lateral angle, this is the medial angle, and that the alar cartilage should be like this, and so on.. After surgery, I could not breathe like before, and my sense of smell was also not very good, but I did not think that was a problem caused by nose surgery. But Director Jang was the only one who figured it out exactly, asking if breathing felt uncomfortable. He said the septum had become severely weakened and both the medial and lateral sides of the nasal valve were stenosed.. He said the nasal tip could be lowered with ear cartilage, but septal and nasal valve reconstruction would require rib cartilage. This was the most thorough and longest consultation I have had at any hospital so far, and he really was not the kind of doctor who operates just for money. He also designed the nose while looking at the overall harmony.. For me, he said to use rib cartilage for the bridge. I had gone thinking about dermis, but I think he felt rib cartilage would suit me better lol
